The Peli 1170 Case is one of the smallest and shallowest options in the Protector range, designed for smaller items that still deserve full hard-case protection. A carry handle keeps it easy to move, and it’s available with pick ‘n’ pluck foam for a custom-fitted interior that holds delicate contents securely in place during transport.

Rated IP67, the 1170 is watertight and dustproof, with two latches, two padlock hasps for added security, and an automatic pressure equalisation valve that keeps water out while balancing interior pressure. Its shallow profile makes it easy to slot into a larger bag or storage system without wasting space around flatter items. The two padlock hasps are a step up from the single-latch security you get on some smaller cases, which matters if the contents are valuable enough to need locking rather than just closing. Empty or foam-fitted, the case weighs well under a kilogram, so it adds almost nothing to the overall load you’re carrying. That combination of low weight and hard-case security is hard to match in a case this size.
