The Peli 1400 Case is a popular mid-size choice across the Protector range, offering a good balance of internal capacity and portability. It’s supplied empty or fitted with pick ‘n’ pluck foam, so you can tailor the interior to whatever you’re carrying, and it’s available in a wide range of colours if you need to colour-code kit across a team or fleet.

As with every case in the Protector range, the 1400 (sold as the Pelican 1400 outside Europe) is waterproof, dustproof and crushproof. Two latches and a comfortable rubber over-moulded handle make it easy to carry, and stainless steel padlock protectors let you secure the case for transport without adding bulk to the shell. The padlock protectors are recessed into the shell itself, so they don’t snag on other equipment or wear through vehicle upholstery the way an add-on hasp sometimes can. Combined with the wide colour range, that makes the 1400 an easy case to standardise on across a whole team without sacrificing individual security.
