The Peli 1460 Tool Case takes the toughness of the standard 1460 shell and adds a purpose-built two-tray interior, making it a genuine mobile tool chest rather than a foam-fitted case. An o-ring seal gives the case an IP66 dust and water resistance rating, and the top lid opens a full 180 degrees for anti-roll stability when working in the field, so the case stays put on uneven ground while you’re working from it. Two easy-open double-step latches keep the lid secure in transit, and three rubber over-moulded handles – one on either side and one on top – make it easy to carry solo or lift with a colleague when fully loaded. Unlike a standard foam-fitted case, the two-tray layout means tools stay visible and organised rather than nested inside cut foam, so you can see at a glance if anything is missing before you close the lid.
