The Peli 1740 is a long, deep case built for storing substantial equipment while remaining manageable for one person to transport. Six secure double-step latches and two rugged double-wide handles keep the case both accessible and easy to carry, while wide-track polyurethane wheels with ball bearings and nylon hubs handle the rolling. Four extra-deep base-to-lid locking cleats add stacking stability when cases are stored together, and an O-ring seal with two pressure equalisation valves keeps the case watertight, dustproof and crushproof.
